Proverbs 28:20

Praise the LORD we serve a faithful God! 1 Cor 1:9  God is faithful, by whom ye were called unto the fellowship of his Son Jesus Christ our Lord.  Over the past few months I have been reminded over and over again that our God is Faithful.  From the way He heals, to the way He provides and to the way He loves us, God never misses a beat.  God never makes a mistake. God never takes a vacation. God never messes up. God never slips. God never changes. God never loses track and God never forgets. Except for our sin, Hallelujah! 1 Thessalonians 5:24  Faithful is he that calleth you, who also will do it.  Now because He is faithful, we are to be faithful. 1 Cor 4:2  Moreover it is required in stewards, that a man be found faithful.  We are living in a day and each where faithfulness is hard to find, but as servants of Christ we need to live up to a higher standard than the world. We serve a mighty God who deserves our faithfulness. Let us hold fast the profession of our faith without wavering; (for he is faithful that promised;) Heb 10:23.  God has called us to be faithful. Faithful to the Word. Faithful to our wives. Faithful to our church. Faithful to His will. Faithful to the truth!  Be faithful unto death and ye shall receive a crown!  Don't quit. Don't give up. Don't give in. Don't give out! Stay steady, stay faithful, stay busy serving and living for God! Amen!  Proverbs 28:20  A faithful man shall abound with blessings...

Galatians 1:1-9

There is an attack on the gospel of Jesus Christ today! Paul warns us of people perverting the gospel and preaching a false gospel.  Today there are two great perversions out there that are perverting the true gospel. They are the health, wealth, prosperity gospel and the ultra-dispensational gospel. While a full disclosure of these two heresies would take a lengthy discussion, a simple answer to these is that they both add something to the gospel.  The one is a wrong motive to get safe, the other a wrong means to get saved. You don't receive Christ in order to get rich, you receive Christ so you don't go to a Devil's Hell!  You don't get saved; Old Testament, New Testament or Tribulation by faith and works! Galatians 3:6  Even as Abraham believed God, and it was accounted to him for righteousness. We need true Bible believers to stand up for the sake of defending the true gospel that these perverts are trying to destroy. Romans 1:16  For I am not ashamed of the gospel of Christ: for it is the power of God unto salvation to every one that believeth; to the Jew first, and also to the Greek. Those who pervert the gospel are cursed according to Paul. (v.9)  The gospel message is the most powerful thing in the world. It alone can bring about a transformation in the life of even the most vilest of sinners. Christ died for all! Christ wants all to be saved! Let's stand for the pure, true gospel of grace and live it! Galatians 2:21  I do not frustrate the grace of God: for if righteousness come by the law, then Christ is dead in vain.  It is Christ's death and His death alone that allows us to become righteous! Amen!!
